I called them and they were ok with checking stock to see if something was wrong and admitted they were wrong. They faxed a call tag and u shipped the item back.

They have a great website and also have paper catalogues & even have a separate catalog just for the trucks. Great info there. Post some photo's of the truck if you can. Jimmie

Feb 20, 2021 · I've always loved them but I've only owned 40s. 37-39s are as spendy here as 40 fords but for some reason 40 chevy coupes are affordable. Had a 2 door sedan in high school and a 40 Master 85 coupe 15 years ago. Love those coupes!!

Nov 16, 2013 · I'd like some input from the 40s Chevy guys out there regarding the steeing on a 41 Chevy coupe we've restored. Basically she's stock except for the 283 V8, automatic transmission and Camaro rear end. It'd got a GM column but the steering box is stock. We rebuilt the steering box but it's still got way too much play. I guess it's just too worn out.

Oct 29, 2012 · A guy named Poncho owned the place. Unfortunately, Poncho passed away a while back. He had some cool stuff. One of the cars sittin' outside was a chopped '40s coupe...a Ford, I think...it's been a while. Anyway, instead of the normal decklid, it had a boat-tail on it made from a late '40s Chevy hood, with a nice transition to the rear fenders.

Oct 31, 2023 · After some looking, the sides appear to be a match to early thru mid '40s Chevy truck. However, all of those hoods appear to have come to a point at the front. So, my question is: Did somebody just do a really good job of removing the front portion or have I incorrectly identified the hood? Thanks for the help.
