Today AMD announced their new RDNA3 cards will support DisplayPort 2.1, but they said even the 4090 only supports DisplayPort 1.4. I looked at the specs of my card and see that indeed, it's DisplayPort 1.4 (as of today).

Finally, it's said that NVidia G-Sync is better supported in Display Port 1.4, than it is in the HDMI 2.0 which are the specs that my monitor supports.
