This means that an 8-pin connector can support more powerful CPUs, and provide more stability and performance. (My motherboard has 2x8 pin for the CPU, I'm using them both , just because I had the wires/connectors for it)

Dec 3, 2022 · 4 - The motherboard should boot without any fans connected and give you a warning that the CPU fan is not running/detected. But I would absolutely connect the cooler fan to this header, I have run into stubborn motherboards before.
