How to connect 3x8 pin to PSU : r/buildapc - Reddit
I received my 4080 Aero today and it has a 3x8pin. I need to connect the 3x8 pin to my PSU somehow and I don't know which is the proper way to do it. I have two separate PCIE cables, which have 2 ends with 2x8 and then one end which is 7pin (8th slot is empty on both??). I also have one CPU cable with is 1x8 on each end.
I’m so confused why does my GPU have 3x8 pin connection
I have an ASRock 6900 XT OC Formula that has 3x8 power connectors. The box says you need a minimum power supply size of 1000W. This particular card uses the newer Navi 21 XTXH instead of XTX, which is the same as what's in the 6950 XT, and if you compare the specs of this card, it's basically the same as the 6950 XT as well, which does not ...
How much difference would changing from 5x5 to 3x8 make in
Sep 21, 2020 · You'll plateau at a lower weight doing 3x8 vs. 5x5. Depends on what your goals are. If you want to get strong, as fast as possible, stick to the program. If you want slower progression with more emphasis on hypertrophy, do the 3x8. Once you plateau, you'll need to mix it up w/ lower rep/higher weight days (like 3x5) to continue getting stronger.
is 3x5 or 3x8 a better progression standard for strength work?
Apr 11, 2018 · Honestly, I don't even think 3x8 is really enough to progress from. If you really want to make sure your joints are conditioned, it would serve you well to do something like 4x10-12. In my experience, whenever I progressed after hitting 3x8, the earlier progression wasn't really ingrained the way I thought it would be.
Is there a difference between 3x8 and 5x5? : r/Fitness - Reddit
Feb 21, 2013 · in simplest terms 3x8 is considered more hypertrophy-oriented, though there is going to be an overlap with strength as well. 5x5 for most people will have you using a higher % of your 1RM than you can on 3x8 despite the extra sets.
Choosing a weight for 3x8 or 3x12: either the first sets are ... - Reddit
Jun 8, 2018 · Once you're at 3x8 aim for 3x9 and keep working until you get to 3x12. Up the weight and do it all over again. There's nothing magical about the number 8, 10 or 12. You aren't failing by not getting to 8 on your last set. If you fail at 6 you still did a "hard set". Just keep training and your numbers will keep improving and that's all that ...

Jan 1, 2012 · I'm currently lifting 3x10 for all of my weights, and I've noticed that a lot of people do 3x8 or 5x5. I've been lifting free weights since the end of October and have gained a bit of strength already doing 3x10. I just don't know if I should be lifting more at 3x8 or 5x5 or what. definitely option 2, double chainring shifts better than triple, loss of top end speed from losing the 3rd chainring not a big deal if purely looking for trail riding also the 3x8 comes with the ST-EF505 brake/shift lever combo, so it would prevent you from upgrading your brakes or shifters independently because the brake and shifters are combined into one unit.
3x8-pin or 2x8-pin to 4080 Super FE 12VHPWR? : r/nvidia - Reddit
Recently received a 4080 Super FE and was looking to replace the 3x8-pin adapter that came with it for a 90 degree cable. The desktop is powered by a Seasonic Prime TX-750 and I've noticed I've got options for 12VHPWR cables that use either a 2x8-pin or 3x8-pin connection @ the PSU (from Seasonic or 3rd party).
Cards with 3x8 pin connectors : r/nvidia - Reddit
Sep 15, 2020 · Newbie here, been wondering, if my PSU (EVGA 850BQ) has 1 PCIe daisy chain cable (1=6+2 pin and 1=6 pin) coming directly from the PSU and it also comes with 2 VGA daisy chain cables (also 1=6+2 pin and 1=6 pin) for the two VGA slots on the back of the PSU, can I use ALL three cables (both the PCIe and the VGA's) on the 6+2 pin side for a GPU ...
