3M™ Nextel™ Ceramic Fibres reinforce oxide ceramics and enable the production of high-temperature, thin walled, thermal shock and oxidation resistant Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC).

3M™ Nextel™ Tape AP-18 is designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements for applications that require a narrow, edge stable woven product. Nextel™ 312 fiber has properties that allow these products to outperform the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles.

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-10, is woven from Nextel 312 high temperature continuous ceramic oxide served roving and is designed to withstand continuous high temperatures and can act as a flame barrier.

3M™ Nextel™ Ceramic Textiles, Fibers and Composites are found in nearly every commercial jetliner in the world, and are widely used in many military aircraft applications.

3M™ Nextel™ Roving 720 is comprised of 720 continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber. The roving styles are 1500, 3000 and 10000 denier. This material is designed to maintain strength while withstanding continuous high temperatures.
