Apr 27, 2020 · I just discovered today that the 3DR solo app is no longer available. What other options are out there and what all is needed? I appreciate any help that someone can provide. Thank you.

Nov 20, 2015 · This the the 3DR app dying an inevitable death. It has these video problems in the recent iOS versions. I would fully expect it to be totally non-functional in the next version or two of iOS. The 3DR app will not function at all in the most recent Android 9 (Pie). So the app is basically dead for new devices.

Oct 11, 2022 · So I needed to use 3dr drone the other day at a fire scene. I have not used it in awhile. I tried to download the 3dr app for android and it's not avail. I need app to setup the 3dr on new phone. The controller did factory rest as well and it's looking for the 3dr app for updates. Any help greatly appreciated

Apr 22, 2019 · Yes: Just go to the App Store on your iPhone, use it to update the 3DR Solo app, and then use it to check for firmware updates for Solo and the controller. The Solo user's manual contains all the information you need about updating the firmware. Hope that helps!

Next release shows these items: In Progress - Next Update! Follow Me - Beta Testing; Solo video support - Ready for next release; Pre-Flight checklist current weather (wind & temp) - Ready for next release
