318ti Trailer Hitches . . . not that hard to find | 318ti.org
May 14, 2014 · As you know, years ago Da'Lan made a tow hitch specifically for the 318ti, and then for some reason stopped making it. Since then it seems that every other Ti guy out there is looking for a hitch with no luck. I've seen numerous threads of people asking for a hitch option without anyone...
M54b30/M52b28 cam swap - 318ti.org
Jul 12, 2017 · I've posted a number of times into a thread in this same (engine) forum to share the information I found for OEM cam details. In that same forum I promised to attempt swapping the M54b30 cams into my M52b28. I did this swap last week and figured I should share what I did. It was fun but also a...
Clean rear seat delete - 318ti.org
Oct 24, 2011 · im sure people have done this before and i did search in the forums for an existing thread on this and couldnt find anything. I've decided not to put the rear seats back in after the swap, and am in the process of creating a false floor for the rear out of wood and marine carpet spanning from...
Vented rear disk on an e36 compact? - 318ti.org
Oct 13, 2006 · Just doing a quick check of parts diagrams at realoem.com shows that all the E36 models have non-vented rear rotors. Even the M cars. You could probably find a custom set-up on the aftermarket, but I really don't think it's worth that …
Radiator problem - 318ti.org
Oct 4, 2006 · I recently discovered that I seem to have the same problem. I was out and about in normal traffic around here and while my temp gage never climbed (I saw it once do that in bumper to bumper) I could smell hot coolant. When I finally got to where I was going, I popped the hood and you could hear the coolant trying to escape the cap on the side of the radiator. I know the fan works as it comes ...
Headlight switch replacement. - 318ti.org
Sep 21, 2023 · Hi all, I had to have my 318ti jump started this morning as it hadn't been run for 2 or 3 months as it needed repairs. Long story short, after having the car jump started I took it for a drive to recharge the battery. I happened to be driving through a tunnel when I …

Solid flywheel conversion...anyone done it? - 318ti.org
Oct 30, 2014 · My perfect goal would be in the middle of 215mm and 240mm, and find a lightweight single mass flywheel that accepted a 228mm clutch WITHOUT going through all the silly business of swapping ring gears or starters. It seems from all the reading I have done the only option for 228mm clutch outside of custom is using the M20 part.
Test if Fan Works? - 318ti.org
Nov 14, 2007 · I am in the process of rebuilding my car since my accident, and I started my car for the first time in months :D My radiator fan worked the first day that I turned it on. Two days later, I started my car again and just let it idle, and the fan wouldn't work. My car was actually overheating some...
