The SO-152 (Russian: СО-152), usually known by its GRAU designation 2S3 (Russian: 2С3), is a Soviet 152.4 mm self-propelled gun developed in 1968, as a response to the American 155 mm M109 howitzer. Development began in 1967, according to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union from July 4, 1967.

May 1, 2022 · I have found the 2s3m a lot of fun with its massive HE shells. Basically if you hit most things in the turret front, the explosion will go down into the hull and nuke the whole thing. Of course that depends on where the turret front is relative to the top of the hull.

Dec 28, 2021 · Use either the APHE or the stronger HE shell. Everything else is useless. I use the upgraded HE with a couple of HEAT shells in case I come up against a Ferdi or something. Almost any shots with HE to the turret face or cupola will be a kill shot. If you shoot directly under the tanks, you'll almost certainly get a kill.as well.

Feb 18, 2023 · Try to aim for cupolas, if your desperate you can even aim under the tank's belly. Try to hit a clear shot and don't waste shots. Don't shoot unless you have carefully aimed. Try to avoid spaced armour. When looking at tanks you need to make sure that the splash area will enter the crew compartment.
