Again, he doesn't mention the 2GR-FE specifically, but the early years of that engine (2009 and earlier) were known to have the issue. As to the OP's original question: I'd say no start-up rattle = drive your car and don't worry.

Dec 23, 2020 · Later Gen-2 (2011-2013) used the 2GR-FE with the U660 E/F 6 speed (and I believe electric PS) Earlier Gen-3 (2014-2016) also used the 2GR-FE with the U660 E/F 6 speed (and I believe electric PS) Not sure if this helps anyone with picking an engine, but it does help explain the LKQ charts a bit.
