May 5, 2020 · The 4 extra pins you connect according to the attached drawing. For example if you use a 27512 (which will be easier to locate than a 2732), you connect pins 1, 2 and 27 to GND, and 28 to +5v. Pins 1, 2, 27 and 28 are not used, the new chip you connect to your circuit from pin3, as if it were pin1 of the 2732.
2732 hex (bin) programming question - Forum for Electronics
Dec 16, 2020 · Hi, 2732 is not the full IC name. What exact IC do you speak of? It is a memory IC or better say an EEPROM. There are "A" signals, these are address lines.
Are 2532 and 2732 EPROMS interchangeable? - Pinside
game Roms (Joust, Robotron, etc..) use "mostly" 2732, but the boards can be jumpered to accept 2532. So to answer your question, NO, 2732 and 2532 are NOT programmed the same way and are not interchangeable without some board modifications. Virtually ALL eprom burners will do 2732, but some of the cheaper ones will not do 2532.
2732 and TL866II Plus - Page 1 - EEVblog
Jan 12, 2021 · Of course on 2732 eprom Vpp is applied to pin 20. I have check both datasheet of 2716 and 2732 and don't understand why this work for one and not for the other. I have noticed that some Xgecu software set a voltage level to 6.5 V instead of 5 V for some 2732 model eprom but both settings give the same result.

2732 is NOT pin compatible with 9332 and requires board jumper mods for the different pinouts. 2732 are generally cheaper/easier to get than 2532. The black plastic (non-window) PROMs found on those old Bally/Stern boards are either 9316 or 9332 PROMs. You can use 2532/2732 in place of 2716 by simply doubling the data.
Questions about burning 2732 Eproms for bally -17/-35 at U2 and …
4kb file is 2732. Converting all Bally/Stern MPUs to take 2732 at U2 and U6 makes the most sense. Max ROM sizing and then is backwards compatible with any game as long as you fill up both ROM chips properly.
How to program EPROM M2732 21V with TL866? SOLVED - Page …
Apr 8, 2019 · I managed to program a 27C64 @18V with the TL866II (the datasheet says needs 21V), but only if I increased the duration to 1ms, from the default 100us. The same trick might work for the 2732. The other option would be some sort of extra circuit to feed 21V to the Vpp pin of the 2732 once the TL866 voltage rose above say 15V.
Burning Eproms 2732: Double 2K file or combine U2/U6 for U2
I'm playing with my new GQ-4x4. I've noticed on a 2732 that was burned by someone else for a -17 game has U2 and U6 combined instead of just doubling the originating 2K U2 file. Is this customary. I guess it works either way. Thanks for chiming in.
2532 vs 2732 EPROMs (Xenon) | Tech: Early solid state - Pinside
I get the impression that it would be desirable to re-jumper my board to take the 2732. However, I'm reluctant to start screwing around with jumper configurations before I identify my original problem (why the board won't run). In poking around the Internet, I see there are adapters to stick a 2732 in a 2532-configured socket. Thanks!
EPROM Adapter Board, Converts 2532 to 2732 Pinout | shops
Way back, TI had their own pinout for a 2K EPROM.. the 2532. Unfortunately, today they are more difficult to get, and more expensive when you find them. This adapter board solders onto your existing board, and you can plug in a 2732 EPROM instead. The kit comes with everything that you need except for the EPROM. First, you solder the two pin headers into the adapter …
