Since 1941 the 25th Infantry Division has steadfastly served America in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War and Peacekeeping. Now Tropic Lightning soldiers are contributing to the conduct of the war on terrorism.

Introduction: Since its activation in 1941 the 25th Infantry Division (as of 2011) has spent approximately eighteen years of war-time service during World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam and in the War on Terrorism’s expeditionary campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq.
