Jan 31, 2011 · Is 24P and 24HZ basically the same thing. For best picture/less judder am I right in assuming that the Blu-ray should be set to 1080P 24HZ and the TV set to 24p.

Feb 9, 2005 · I always thought that the slower the frame rate, the more the flicker, so why is 24p so top rated? Do people who watch Holywood block busters prefer flicker apposed to smooth motion of a faster frame rate? And what's the deal about 100 and 200Hz refresh rate tv's if 24p is "good" lastly, can a video shot in 24p be played back on a 25p/50i LCD TV?

Sep 15, 2008 · The source is 24p regarless if you display it at 60 or 24fps, 60p has all the strobing issues of 24fps, plus 3:2 judder. It doesn't replace one artefact with another, it simply adds to an existing artefact.

May 13, 2020 · I have a Amazon fire stick 4k which will only play films at 60hz. Has anyone found a HDMI device that will play 4k HDR fims at 24P? It would be great if it also offered other services such as Prime video/Apple TV. I don't own any Apple products and my Panasonic 65dx902 doesn't have a Disney+ app.
