My Lexus shop subs it out to the local Wheelworks, where I buy my tires. I found that out after letting the dealership take care of it once, and found the invoice from Wheelworks for the job attached to my Lexus invoice, sans price. Paid Lexus $150 for the privelege, only to find out that the local Wheelworks charges $60.

Had the contract sent to me and gave credit card info over the phone. The dealership in GA sent the contract to Lexus and it has already been applied to my car.

I purchased new 2011 ES350 and just last week I completed 20,000 miles. Last week I noticed my transmission slipping gradually and car jerked very hard and immediately the “Check Engine” light displayed. Next day I took my car to Dealer – Lexus of Carlsbad (San Diego County) and I was told that transmission needed to be replaced.

This problem does affect other 2010's. My wife has an IS 250 and she has the same problem. Lexus gave her the same song and dance as everyone else.
