Dec 22, 2021 · Nope but I was damn near close to it. My lowest GPA was a 2.04. I had about 3 shitty semesters in total that dragged it from 2.7 to 2.04. I stopped and took a part time semester to get my head right. Came back out swinging once I got my bearings right and am now at a 2.86 GPA. Don't be Afraid to go part time or take a semester off.

Yes. My first year of CC I had a 1.5 GPA. I took a year off and developed better time management skills. The next semester I got a 2.0 GPA. When I transferred to a university a few years later, I graduated with a 3.6 GPA. It is definitely possible to improve if you develop better studying habits and time management skills.

Jun 18, 2023 · My gpa wasn’t quite as low as yours, but it was something like a 2.2. I wasn’t able to go straight to a university, but community college happily accepted me. I believe I could have transferred after just one semester but I went for two and then ended up taking a few years off.

I had a few really good 3.7+ GPA semesters, and some semesters of all W's or 1-2 GPA. Overall I finished with a 3.2...after six years. I still got into a few Top 100 Computer Science schools (Syracuse, University at Buffalo, Johns Hopkins), including Georgia Tech's online program, which I'm likely to pursue.
