Second Army, American Expeditionary Forces (AEF), was established in October 1918 during World War I and demobilized in April 1919. A new Second Army operated from 1933 to 1966, and 1983 to 1995, as a training army in the continental United States.

The Army of the United States was one of the four major service components of the United States Army. Today, the Army consists of the Regular Army, the Army National Guard of the United States, the Army National Guard while in the service of the United States, and the United States Army Reserve. [1]

Oct 27, 2014 · Meaning to say the old US army had as many weapons, equipment, and resources as they did at their peak during WWII, no more no less. We're going to assume the modern army's strength is exactly what it is at this present moment. The armies can use each other's equipment and resources to their favour, should they somehow manage to obtain any.
