Jan 3, 2010 · Most people put a blank in the EGR pipework to stop the entrance of exhaust gas into the inlet manifold, this looks stock but still leaves a rather large valve in the crossover pipe. Has anyone completely removed the valve and inserted an alloy CNC'ed block?

May 9, 2024 · Has anyone got any experience in the complete removal of the inlet "meter run" on a 1HD-FTE. This entails the EGR butterfly valve and heater set up as per the attached pics. Does this cause any fault codes to be generated?

Nov 20, 2023 · Step 2: Remove the EGR valves by removing the two nuts on the exhaust manifold's studs; and the four nuts on the crossover pipe (green circles). Hopefully they aren't too rusted for you; highly recommend the PB Blaster spa treatment.
