A Grand Prix is going to be worth more than a Bonneville or Catalina from that year, and is somewhat of a rarity since 1967 was the only year the Grand Prix was offered as a convertible. If there were 5600 built though, they're not THAT rare.

I recently purchased my first Pontiac. It's a 2007 Grand Prix GT with 17,500 miles on it. Within a few days of my purchase, we had snow. I was terrified after a few moments on the road, because I started sliding EXTREMELY EASILY.

Definitely sounds like a gas shortage problem. Either a clogged fuel filter or the fuel injectors a really dirty. I had this on my grand prix and replaced the fuel filter (costs between $20 and $40 depending on if you do it your self or get it done). I also had the dealership perform a service call BG FUEL INJECT CLEANING.

I think Pontiac couldn't keep decent production histories because they offered so MANY full-sized cars in the mid 60s. They offered every year from 64-67 Catalina and 2+2 (some years offered 'Ventura' trim also, w/ or w/o 2+2), Bonneville and Grand Prix. Also 64-65 Star Chief (between Cat and Bonne), 66 Star Chief Executive, 67-on Executive.

2003 Grand Prix SE 3100 automatic, plugs wires less than 6 months old, tranny rebuilt 6k miles, test pipe instead of converter. Sometimes it violently shakes/shutters under acceleration anything above 1/8 of the pedal. There is a squeaking sound coming from passenger side when given slight throttle but stops when I let off the throttle.

I have a 1999 Grand Prix GT and discovered the water in there last week. The temperatures were below freezing and the tire was frozen in place in the area where it lays under the panel. After researching this issue with my Pontiac Grand Prix (04), I was happy to read about the same problem being experienced with the steering. I also get a "service variable effort steering" message displayed. I took it to the dealership, and they told me it was due to worn front wheel/hub bearings. After replacing both, the problem did not go away.
