Jan 22, 2006 · Ok, just in the past couple of days I have been getting this error 16705 Engine Speed Sensor and with a code of (G28) Implausible Signal. I checked the sensor on the transmission; in fact I removed it from the housing and cleaned it.

Nov 30, 2009 · 16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No signal. Yeah that would have been P0322-004 for the standard ODB II reader. It's either a bad sensor or a dirty connector. Since you just had it replaced I would suggest pulling it and making sure nothing is bent, dirty, or out of place. It should sit to the left of the oil filter.
