May 3, 2020 · So I saw this thread on twitter talking about a video called "1444." I didn't get much info, except for it being fucked up and traumatising. Now, to make sure I don't ruin my day by looking something up that's going to ruin my life, I figured it'd be much safer to ask here. So, what is video 1444, what happens in it, and why is it called 1444?

Oświęcim in 1444 is not a vassal of Poland. It was split into Oświęcim and Zator in 1445 and then Oświęcim was vassalized by Poland in 1454 and Zator in 1456. I have no idea what Sosnowice in Toszek is supposed to be. There is no Sosnowice in that area. It seems that it should be Gliwice (which indeed was a duchy in 1292-1330).

November 11th, 1444 is the day after the Battle of Varna, a battle in which the Ottoman Sultan Murad II decisively defeated the forces of a combined Hungarian, Polish, and Wallachian crusade against the Turks in modern day Bulgaria.

In this update (I posted this before but deleted it) I added North Africa. Sorry for France being purple and not red, when I uploaded it Reddit changed the color for some reason.
