Jun 11, 2021 · So, you want to focus on the 112x112 then cleaning up the smaller sizes. If 112 is too small for you to effectively sketch and draw, try making your canvas bigger by multiples (224, 448 etc.) Emotes are a bit tricky to get the hang of , but "Inspect Twitch Element" is a good site to use to preview how emotes will look in chat.

I am trying to make my emote twitch friendly but in order to do that I need my 112 x 112 png file to be only 25 kb.

Sep 5, 2023 · Having never used the platform myself, after some research I'm seeing that emotes have to be 3 different sizes, but apparently with auto resizer you can just upload a photo that is 112x112 and twitch will resize it themselves My question is does the image file have to be exactly 112 x 112 pixels to upload and get approved?

Apr 9, 2022 · Then I resize to the needed sizes for emotes (112x112, 56x56, and 28x28- all as pixel measurements). Just know that sub badges have different sizes. There's a lot of videos on YouTube about the technical side of making twitch emotes that I highly recommend watching.

Jul 27, 2018 · What other channels do you see emotes being 112x112? I just checked and the global LUL emote is using 28x28 in chat, even tho the 112x112 version is also available. 112x112 is a waste in chat considering emotes are displayed at 28x28.

Dec 18, 2021 · The size requirements are 25kb on the big image, which has to be 112x112. This is impossible. Even with 256 colors, filesize wont go below 27kb. Is there any way around this or is it just some weird way of forcing us to use their graphics.

Aug 6, 2020 · I know that twitch emotes sizes should be 112x112, 56x56, 28x28 but when i draw in these sizes they are too pixelated.. I have seen some artists draw in 500x500. Does this mean that i draw a single emote in a 500x500 canvas and then just resize it to the required sizes? Any tips or advices you can give me?

Apr 29, 2021 · My original image is usually 2048x2048 then I resize to 112x112. When I upload to twitch I upload the one file and leave Auto-resize toggled to automatically resize the smaller sizes within twitch. Sorry if the wording is unclear, I’m on mobile at the moment and can’t check my exact setting on desktop
