Oct 24, 2021 · 2020 BX 23S here New England/Western Mass 10w-30 I would not hesitate with the Rotella 5w-40 either, as I know its an amazing oil. 15w-40 seems a bit too thick for me. just my humble opinion.

Engine oil : API service classification CD, CE or CF Above 25 °C : SAE30, (77 °F) 10W-30 or 10W-40 0 to 25 °C : SAE20, (32 to 77 °F) 10W-30 or 10W-40 Below 0 °C : SAE10W, (32 °F) 10W-30 or 10W-40

May 5, 2022 · I've got Rotella T6 5W-40 in my L35. It sure spins over compared to the 15W-40 i ran before, and seems to run as good in our hot climate. I may go back to the 15. But if I were you, OP, I'd use the 5W-40 synthetic or 10W-30 regular. For some reason, 10W-30 diesel oil seems to be rare around me.
