Best 10mm powder, lowest pressure with highest velocity?
Aug 10, 2012 · There is no reason why a guy couldn't live entirely on a diet of Blue Dot for 10mm auto and have the entire spectum covered (except mouse fart stuff). Some things are believed because they are demonstrably true, but many other things are believed simply because they have been asserted repeatedly. ~ Thomas Sowell
Anyone loading 10mm Auto? - The Firearms Forum
May 7, 2023 · One of the later 10MM pistols was a Kimber Eclipse. Fine gun, with MUCH better case head support than my Colt Delta had.. I think I'll always have a 10MM or two around. Haven't loaded 10MM in a while, so haven't used any small primer 10MM cases. Most of my loads were similar to the original NORMA loads, or today's Buffalo Bore, Underwood, etc.

If you need to load the 10mm past 37,500 psi to get your desired power level you really should of bought a bigger gun in the first place.
10MM Magnum | Glock Talk
Jul 17, 2020 · A 10mm Magnum revolver is essentially a 3 cartridge shooter, all loading and firing off the same 10mm moon clips: .40S&W, 10mm AUTO, and 10mm Mag. Truly a 3-in-1 wheelgun. A lot of 610 owners in the late '90s and early 2000s used Hamilton Bowen for this cylinder 'conversion' work.

May 16, 2014 · The FBI moved to the 10mm and developed a load in deference to smaller agents and woman agents. Later the 40S&W was introduced and tons of reloading data at that lower level became available. Today I shoot Rainier 180 gr bullets at the 1000 FPS level and the gun is pleasant to shoot.
10MM vs .41 Mag - Glock Talk
Sep 24, 2013 · Comparing my warm 10mm loads, and Underwood 10mm as well, to warmer .41 Mag loads, there's about a 300 fps advantage with the .41 Mag, plus it can shoot heavier bullets than the 10mm can. “Blind belief in authority is the greatest enemy of truth.”
Is the 10mm auto worth it? - Glock Talk
Nov 18, 2017 · A better conversion would be 10mm to 45acp because shooting 45acp in a gun chambered for 10mm would likely prolong the lifespan of the gun but as most guns for the 10mm are purpose built for the dimensions of the 10, putting a bigger bullet in the gun may not work without serious modification and at that point, you might as well just get ...
