10BE Dark Oxidized Satin Bronze equivalent: This finish provides the richness and warmth of the 10B/613 "living" finish, but maintains its original color and appearance and will not fade or wear over time.

Oct 21, 2020 · The BHMA 613 (US10B) finish is not intended to be color-fast and has been specified for many years by architects who wish to have an antique look with their hardware. To make this finish, the brass or bronze base material is dyed and oxidized to a brown color, and then satin polished and oil rubbed.

May 1, 2001 · US10B is a finish compatible with the architectural colored anodic aluminum finishes. Steel must be electroplated with brass or bronze before it can be oxidized. Steel-based material that has been plated is intended to be compatible with–not match–brass- and bronze-based material to have a similar oxidized appearance.

Jul 28, 2020 · There are two standards in the United States which have identified and defined door hardware finishes. The earlier standard is the United States Standard, developed by the Institute of Standards, and finishes in this standard are depicted as US10B, US26D etc.
