Mar 7, 2022 · The MDT Oryx is affordable, easy to install, comes with a simple set of adjustments, and has all the features you’d need to get into rimfire PRS Shooting with a 10/22. The polymer panels are great for protecting the chassis and over the couple of months that I had the Oryx, I didn’t notice any separation of the panels from the aluminum chassis.

May 31, 2012 · I have an Oryx 10/22. It was the only offering a year ago and made it a good competitive NRL22 platform but I personally wouldn't recommend it for PRS/NRL22 like competitions today. It is an extremely rear heavy chassis, and the weight is good for say a centerfire build, or if you ran a really heavy 10/22 front barrel.

Dec 30, 2024 · Right now my 10/22 sits in a Magpul Hunter x-22. It has a threaded Beyer lightweight target barrel, a Kidd two stage trigger being delivered today, a Kidd scalloped bolt, handle and buffered bolt stop. Also on order is a Brownells BRN receiver. Is this $400+ stock worth it? I’m really starting to fathom how much I have into this 22 rifle 🤯😳.
