Feb 13, 2024 · My point was 0.1 BTC isn't some exclusive club that is going to unlock untold riches just because it is the "top 2% globally". Top 2% globally anything is a pretty low bar given how impoverished a huge portion of the planet is and especially for Americans given the very high relative wages and cost of living.

There is a theoratical total of 21 miljon and a practical total of 17 mil. if everybody holds 0.1 btc then therr are 170 mil btc holders. So you own 1/170.000.000 of al btc. I can imagine more then 170.000.000 people want btc in the near future thus 0.1 btc is indeed something to be proud of.

Mar 5, 2024 · The first club was 21 BTC then once that became unrealistic it was 10 BTC or 5 BTC (no real consensus) and then it became 1 BTC ("wholecoiner"). Eventually 0.1 BTC will be the threshold. Not sure what cool name it will have maybe a "dime'? I don't know bro I am not that clever I am not a wordologist. If btc is worth 500k or 1M in the future everything almost certainly costs more, not less. That doesn’t mean btc hasn’t acted as a hedge long against inflation, but there’s still only a limited sample to date. If you bought btc in past year you lost value in usd in ratio to btc, but also got leveled in hedging inflation.
