Jul 6, 2018 · Well, a swapping a 1JZ into a Corolla would mean you'd have to convert it to rear wheel drive. That's a whole other task that you will have to face and decide if it is worth it or not. Plus, being that a 1JZ is an inline 6, the engine probably wouldn't fit in the engine bay without modifying the firewall.

Oct 26, 2014 · In my '09 Corolla, it seems the side vents emit air no matter if the dial is set to 0. For years, auto makers have engineered at least some air to be pumped into the cabin for the sake of safety. When set to 0, air is emitted from my car's side vents, but the center vents shut off completely. Hope this helps--Cheers
