Guns hold their value pretty well, bows not so much. I have bought a few old bear recurves on eBay, I just don't know that there's a market for old compounds.

Dec 2, 2008 · I just don't really know if there is a good choice for brown bear in the ar platform. If it were me I would take a .338 or a .375. Maybe even a 416. I would be worried about penetration with the .50 beowulf on a big brown bear. I think it would also limit your range. I killed a 150 lb hog the other day with a .450 bushmaster.
