Sep 10, 2019 · Thanks for your reply. Yes, Windows Defender worked. The reason I installed Avast was because I didn't have any antivirus software. The only thing I had was Avast Free (which didn't have antivirus) which was on my Pc when I got it. With your response, I will uninstall Avast Free and see if that takes care of the probkem.
