Considering you already have monthly installments on a car that’s on the cheaper side. Perhaps you should think about if you can afford a Tesla model 3. That being said I consider a Tesla a status symbol more then an actual functional car because of inflated prices and poor build quality and high cost of repairs.

The car would only drive 120-130 miles on a single charge before requiring charging. I was thinking about buying Tesla, like Long range model S but now i am in doubt. I did like the acceleration though and single gear forward, even as it was a base model. Also, hertz rental Tesla came with FSD which was fun. The software was a bit annoying.

The waiting room looked more like an office waiting room, comfy chairs, carpet, relaxing music playing, two people were sitting at a table with laptops. Most car service centers were plastic chairs, upsell or accessory displays everywhere and the places smelled like oil. So it was a very different experience. But yeah more expensive.

We’re all aware of and understand his frustration re depreciation, but he brought up alot of other valid concerns as well.
