Jan 23, 2007 · This applies to all ATI T43 models as well as many other models by other brands that has Radeon X family graphics adapter or FireGL adapter. original issue: if you use fast startup in Windows 8 and up for the above devices, you get a blank display unless you somehow refresh the monitor by turning it off and back on.

I must admit, for some reason, I thought it was a T43P. Yesterday, I realized it was a T43. I went back to ebay and was able to bring the listing up and realized, yes, I had bought a T43.

Dec 27, 2006 · The T43P current version is 1.29 - the T43 1.28 was just released about a week ago. Also, the instructions for the T43 state specifically "If you need to update Embedded Controller Program as well as the BIOS, update BIOS first."

Feb 19, 2007 · Both T42 and T43 had units that went as high as 1024x768, or 1400x1050, or 1600x1200, depending on the model. Each product was offered in a wide range of configurations, and most certainly there were some very high-end T42 and very low-end T43 models (and priced accordingly). There is nothing ironic in that.

Jul 22, 2007 · For the specific T43p, you will get an ATI FireGL V3200 while in T43, you will get a lower-end X300 or integrated graphics. ATI V3200 is positioned to be a (little more) professional graphic card that support OpenGL and 3D applications while X300 is enough for a typical office, web browser, business use.

May 18, 2011 · I didn't have Windows 10 on my T43 (2ghz, 2gb ram, 5400rpm HDD, ATI X300), but I did have Windows 8.1 on it. The experience was OK at best. I wouldn't expect Windows 10 to run any faster, but slower. These machines are simply getting too dated to be able to run the fancy interface and extra services that are in Windows 8 and up.
