Jan 9, 2024 · ANY P59 OS can be Flex Fuel. My L31 based 383 has a non flex fuel calibration running with factory flex fuel. The only P01 and P59 vehicles I tune with HPTuners were ones I already had licensed. For swap stuff now, I mostly use a P59 12592618 OS on swap vehicles. I have files to literally run nearly anything with that OS.

Jan 11, 2019 · On a P59 it will be Engine>Airflow>Dynamic>High RPM Disable, GM predominately uses 4000 rpm but there are a few platforms that use 3600 or 3200. Those are about the only ones I've seen. And yes you can change it and I do on everything I tune.

Nov 30, 2023 · The '411' PCMs youre reffering to are actually broken into 2 groups, P01 and P59. P01 (red and blue) is the earliest LS PCM that was used roughly until DBW was introduced. DBW applications use the P59 (blue and green).

Jan 3, 2022 · HPT (and efi live) are missing the spark blend table in the calibration. Need a tune file that already has 'sane' values programmed in, or use user defined parameters to define that table and put in sane values. But yes, totally works fine. I'm running a P59 Corvette file with flex fuel (this file in stock form has all things flex fuel disabled).

Jan 9, 2025 · For the P59 i thought there was a way to do something similar with Ethanol input. But i think im mistaken and was thinking of the E38 where you can use C1 Pin 5 and it will accept a 12v input to use the 85% E tables.

Apr 25, 2024 · Those P59 PCMs can be had around here at salvage yards for $20. If you already had a tune file for that PCM just pick up a used one and write entire the unlocked file you have to the used one. It will require re licensing it but by the time you pay shipping both ways and the unlocking fee it's almost a wash. Any blue/green PCM will work.

Apr 27, 2023 · edit: Files you're looking at are different not because one is P01 & other is P59, they're different because one has a vacuum-referenced regulator and one is 'returnless' (really just shorthand for 'referenced to atmosphere instead of manifold pressure').
