Missouri's Source Water Protection Program is designed to ensure Missouri's drinking water is safe, not just at the tap, but at its source. The department is initiating the program as part of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
Source Water Protection Project Grant - Missouri
Through this grant program, the department provides financial assistance to community public water systems to develop and implement voluntary, local source water protection plans to protect the community’s raw water source (s) from contamination. The department anticipates accepting applications starting in February.
