Aug 29, 2018 · Because the G26 has such a short, rigid and thus accurate barrel, carrying it in a HIGH-RIDING leather OWB pancake-style holster allows it to conceal as well as my G43 IWB in my opinion. The picture below is of a G19 on the left in a Galco kydex IWB holster. The G26 on the right is in a Mitch Rosen UPL-EXP OWB high-riding holster.

Three of those parts (items 3, 5, and 6) can function in both Gen3 and Gen4 pistols under appropriate circumstances, leaving only three parts (items 1, 2, and 4) that are absolutely generation specific.

Mar 20, 2015 · The G43 naysayers seem to be overlooking the factor of weight. Sure, there are advantages to having more rounds, but that comes at the price of comfort. A G26 is disproportionately thick for it's tiny size. A G43 seems to have good proportions. Everything is a compromise. Everything.

Oct 4, 2024 · I had a G26 gen 3 milled for a RMR years ago. The Trijicon was replaced with a Holosun as I prefer the green dot. A few weeks ago I acquired a G26 MOS and mounted the SCS on it. It is a fantastic setup, love the low profile and ability to use standard height sights.

Aug 27, 2017 · A g26 with sleeved (X-Grips) G19 and/or G17 mags. Adding +2 bases to either works also. I like to keep the OEM in the gun for concealability and the others in a mag carrier for more capacity.

Sep 19, 2024 · G26 has been around a long time, well before Glock started making pistols in the USA. Better question would be, anyone have a Gen5 G26 that's Made in Austria? (My hunch would be there's plenty of these around too, but nobody in the thread has said so yet.) Edit: nvm, didn't notice that Sootch vid above. But that's what I expected. Common.

Nov 21, 2023 · Buy an MOS G26 and mount a Holosun SCS onto it. Did you already have a optic or have a specific one in mind? I wanted to have the Glock MOS cut on a standard size gen3 17 slide but retain the original location of the rear sight. It doesn't seem like that is possible (looked at Maple Leaf, Battle Werx, and a few others.)

Jan 23, 2020 · I carried my G26 for Four years in a pocket holster (yeah I know, can’t be done). I have carried my G48 for about a year AIWB so it’s not an apples to apples comparison. I shoot the G26 much better than the G48 though. Another thing I like about the G26 is I can keep a G18 mag in each vehicle and in the nightstand.

Oct 23, 2023 · G26 feels like I'm shooting a full-size gun, particularly when shooting with defensive ammo. So got a Gen 5 26 and have been happy with it so far. Felt much thicker when carrying initially (coming from a Shield Plus), but I've gotten used to it and doesn't really seem to be much harder to conceal.
