There is no better fun in New Vegas than to take down a Deathclaw from the distance with only one headshot. As a backup I'm using E-DE and Cass (Rose of Sharon Cassidy) because of close combat (especially in caves).

Jun 4, 2011 · I have De-activated all mods and tried to draw my weapons/etc. multiple times with different load order combinations (each time hitting the "New Game" option from the main menu) but to no avail. I have deleted numerous mods that I didn't require anymore, still no change. I unchecked all ESP files, and still can't draw my weapon/etc.

Fallout New Vegas doesn't really have a whole lot of weapon crafting, unless you're into Explosives and want to make bombs. In fact, without DLC, there's exactly one craftable weapon that isn't a bomb or mine - the Dog Tag Fist, which you can make with a Repair skill of 30.
