Aug 24, 2013 · Well what Steinberg (and maybe VST developers) are trying to do is make life easy on you and Cubase by only having Cubase scan one folder. Of course, you are free to force it to scan the locations of all other folders as well. Those VSTs that install straight to the VST Plugins folder are often scanned automatically with no further hassle.

From the “CUBASE Install” folder, open the “Windows Script Host 5.6” folder. Run the installation file. If prompted, click “Run.” Click “Yes” to the License Agreement. The installation will begin automatically. There is no prompt when the installation is finished. After the hour-glass disappears, the installation will be complete.

Apr 18, 2013 · I followed the instructions from the Cubase PDF, did all the Device Setup and VST Connection possible combinations and still have no input, no output. The computer microphone is working when selected, therefore this is only a problem with the USB audio signal not being recognized by Cubase. Now over 3 days working on this!

Feb 17, 2010 · With split you get two mono files to which Cubase intelligently appends "L" or "R" for the mono file generated from the left or right channel of the mix respectively. With interleaved you get a proper stereo file which you can then burn to audio CD.

Oct 1, 2008 · Cubase 4, by the way, does not support 192 KHz sample rate, so I don't know where you got that from. In any event, here's how that works. There is a common misconception that the higher the sample rate, the better the quality. This is a fallacy.

Sep 11, 2010 · in that folder is where I have my list of vst's.. from kontakt, battery 3, sampletank, sampletron etc etc.. in that folder aswell is omnisphere.dll and trillian.dll vst files, but yet when I open up Cubase and go to "add instrument track" all my vst's are listed except for my omnisphere and trillian ones..
