Jul 1, 2021 · The only advantage that Bifrost can claim is visual programming. But I don't agree with some people boasting that Bifrost visual programming can replace C++ or surpass C++ performance. It may be TD-friendly. There is VEX in Houdini, and Bifrost does not have a script node, so it cannot attract these users.

Jul 11, 2019 · Put in short, environment variable BIFROST_LIB_CONFIG_FILES needs to be set to the full path of bifrost_lib_config.json inside which it specifies the compounds/graphs sub folders that are relative to the location of the configuration file itself.

The goal of these compounds is to create a Construction History in Bifrost that uses different simple initial objects - simple blocks of a few polygons - to create complex buildings that automatically adjust to the scale.
