I have heaps of altoids tins lying around being used for nothing. I'm thinking of getting some foam and lining them and making pockets within, and storing my coins in them. I don't like having coins where I can't get them out and handle them, but right now they're just strewn about my desk and I'm afraid they'll get lost or something.

Dec 22, 2022 · I like altoids but now they have an icky aftertaste so these days I usually just drink water. If you're consuming as a habit then try to wait 5-10 more minutes before you pop one in. Procrastinating works wonders for me! Good luck, it stinks to waste sugar intake on something gone in 30 seconds.

The humble Altoids tin appears pretty regularly on peoples pedalboards. But there has to be some other solutions for keeping a handy stash of spare picks on your board. So show me your innovative pedalboard-mounted pick storage solutions! I want to see everything and anything that is different to an Altoids tin.

Does anyone know of a good peppermint flavor alternative that does not have 3 carbs per serving?? Not a gum chewer or a life saver type, I just happen to love altoids. Thanks in advance!

I'm addicted to peppermint Altoids and as a result have about 50 tins laying around. I've already used a bunch to store small items like paperclips, thumbtacks, exacto blades, etc. What do I do with the rest, can't bear to throw them away. I've also got a bunch of Blue Diamond Almond cans, but I swear I'm not a hoarder. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

May 29, 2017 · Here is the Altoids tin makeup (etc) kit I made. The outside of tin is modge-podged textured decorative paper, the inside is lined with washi tape. Both have held up well, although the modge-podge feels way sturdier. The mirror is from a compact. I broke it to fit the lid of the tin and wrapped the edges in sugru.
