MOUNT WASHINGTON (WGME) -- It's been a busy week in the White Mountains and Mount Washington, with extreme wind gusts and avalanche warnings. On Monday, Mount Washington recorded a wind gust of 161 MPH. This is the observatory's highest daily peak wind gust since February 2019.
