Hockey Day Minnesota 2025 is on Saturday and the TV schedule has been announced. FanDuel Sports Network North will televise the 19th annual event, beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting through the end of the Minnesota Wild game against the Calgary Flames at 6 p.m.

An all-time great goaltender who somehow went on to have an even more iconic coaching career, Willard Ikola — a titan of Minnesota high school hockey — died Monday. He was 92.

Minnesota hockey legend, Willard Ikola has died. The Eveleth native won two NCAA national championships and was on the 1956 U.S. Olympic team.
