SCOTTDALE, Ga. — A U.S. Postal Service spokesperson says the Scottdale post office location in DeKalb County will have modified hours in response to “recent incidents, including acts of vandalism, damage to postal assets and loitering in the lobby area.”

All post office locations are slated to be closed on that day for President’s Day. Even in the states — Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina and Rhode Island — that don’t celebrate President’s Day, the USPS will be closed.

There could be implications for your mail and package delivery, as the United States Postal Service shuts down in honor of the holiday.
