Chevy Chase's Artemis Real Estate Partners and its $11 billion in assets under management are being sold to a Charlotte, North Carolina global asset manager.

The scion of former three-term Georgia Gov. Eugene Talmadge and Sen. Herman Talmadge has sold a significant portion of the family's Clayton County estate to make way for a new housing development.

Gragg listed the house in January for $2.4 million an agents-only network. He found a buyer just three days later.

The house, designed in the early 1940s by a prolific builder in the small western suburb, has many details of its original streamlined style intact.

As the new owners, Kaushal and Panna Shah plan to introduce “cutting-edge technology and a fresh corporate vision” to streamline operations, a news release from the business states.
