Police responded at 3 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive, Taunton police said in a statement.
The 14-year-old, who was driving a Kayo mini-motorcycle, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, Taunton Police Chief Ed Walsh said.
