A weird week for BioWare just got a little weirder, as EA reveals in its new quarterly financial statement that Dragon Age: The Veilguard unperformed sales expectations by 50% for the company's 2025 fiscal year third quarter.

Even so, it’s clear that the Game Director Corinne Busch is ready to move on from the project and from EA altogether, as she has officially confirmed that she will be leaving the company. As of now, no additional departures from BioWare have been announced, and this doesn’t appear to be part of a wider staffing change.

After everything, the company now says that its bookings outlook for the full fiscal year is somewhere in the range of $7 billion to $7.15 billion. While that's still a ton of money, that's bookings, not profits or even revenues, and it's a huge cut from the previous estimate of $7.5 to $7.8 billion.
