Polestar teased its first version of this lineup in 2022 by some rally lights and OZ Racing wheels on a Polestar 2, but the official launch of the Arctic Circle cars brings two more models along for the ride — or rather, the slide. For 2025, Polestar's rally-inspired lineup will feature a Polestar 3 and 4 as well.

Generally speaking, these new Arctic Circle models are designed for frigid weather and icy conditions. They’re also meant to showcase the premium automaker’s performance DNA.

The new “Arctic Circle” collection includes one-off Polestar 3 and 4 vehicles with rally upgrades. Polestar is building one-of-a-kind versions of its EVs that are ready for whatever the winter brings.

The Polestars aren't quite as extreme as the Audi, though they have rally experience behind them. Joakim Rydholm, Polestar’s head of driving dynamics, is a rally veteran with multiple Swedish rally podium finishes under his belt, and he was deeply involved in the development of the Arctic Collection.

The brand's 3 and 4 electric SUVs are kitted out for extreme conditions with suspension lifts, all-terrain tires, and roof racks.
