The desperation heave sparked a frenzied celebration inside Williams Arena as the Gophers (10-9, 1-6 Big Ten) celebrated their first conference victory.

Dawson Garcia began calling for the ball before he crossed center court. Once he got it, he let it fly to give Minnesota its first Big Ten victory of the season.
