Milwaukee police responded to what the department called a "critical incident" near 7th and Arthur late Monday night. As of 11:30 p.m., the department had not released any other details about what happened.

The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating critically missing 44-year-old Robert Carter.

"Critically missing" is a label police apply to people who may be especially vulnerable due to a variety of factors.
