Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton says he has realized his “dream” after his first official day at Ferrari, promising “a new era” for the team.

Today marked Lewis Hamilton’s first day on the job as a driver for Ferrari, a day the Tifosi had been waiting for since last year’s stunning announcement that the living legend would leave Mercedes at the end of the 2024 F1 season,

First up was a short visit to the Fiorano track followed by a meeting with Piero Ferrari and then “a day-long total immersion program,” the team said.

Seven-times world champion Lewis Hamilton, Formula One's most successful driver of all time, arrived for his first day at Ferrari on Monday, and said it was a dream come true to race for the Italian team.

Lewis Hamilton says he has "realised his dream" and his first official day at Ferrari marked a "new era in the history of this iconic team".

Ferrari welcomed Lewis Hamilton to the team's base in Maranello, Italy, for his first official day with the Scuderia on Monday, 20 January. The seven-time world champion announced his move to 12 seasons and six drivers' championship wins at Mercedes.
