Skeleton Crew. Like a lot of people, I have been a Star Wars fan for essentially as long as I’ve been alive. The franchise is only a couple of months older than I am so I grew up with the Original Trilogy.

Skeleton Crew may not have the highest viewing hours of some of Disney+’s other Star Wars shows, but it still managed to impress those who did watch it. Skeleton Crew‘s final episode stuck the landing,

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew wore its influences on its sleeve. Despite being part The Goonies, part Treasure Island, and coated in a sweet, science-fantasy shell, Skeleton Crew ’s best homage was not to existing Star Wars characters or stories, but to the joy of discovering the larger world of George Lucas’ galaxy through another person’s eyes.
