The 2025 Toyota Prius continues unchanged except for a new Nightshade grade and a small price increase.

The Toyota Prius had one of the biggest glow-ups in its fifth iteration, enough for it to bag an accolade from us here at CarBuzz in 2023. It stayed mostly the same last year but now, the Japanese marque is giving its award-winning hybrid model an update for the 2025MY, with a proper addition to back up its sleek styling - a new Nightshade trim.

The Toyota Prius 2025 has an initial price of $29,485 for the LE version, which is a $400 increase compared to the previous year’s model. Prices rise depending on the version, with the top-of-the-line Limited starting at $36,

Toyota has introduced the Nightshade edition for the 2025 Prius, expanding the hybrid lineup with a darker aesthetic. Based on the XLE grade, the Nightshade edition includes several design updates such as 19-inch black-finished alloy wheels,

The range still starts with the Prius LE, but it’s now priced from $28,350. Continuing to sit at the top of the range is the Prius Limited AWD, starting at $36,765. The Nightshade version includes a new shade of yellow dubbed Karashi.
