Bill Burr said he did not appreciate Howie Mandel surprising him with Billy Corgan after the guitarist suggested they could be half-brothers.

In November, Billy Corgan revealed Burr might be his half-brother while on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast. Earlier this month, Mandel then secretly brought on the Smashing Pumpkins frontman during Burr’s interview. Burr shared he was not a fan of how the meet and greet went down.

During a Monday appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show," the comedian, 56, slammed Mandel for surprising him with Billy Corgan during a recent podcast interview. Mandel framed the ambush as a family reunion, as the Smashing Pumpkins frontman previously theorized that Burr might be his half-brother.

The comedian, 56, unloaded on Mandel, 69, after Smashing Pumpkins singer, Billy Corgan, 57, showed up mid-interview on the Jan. 21 episode of “ Howie Mandel Does Stuff .” “You’re an a–hole,” Burr told Mandel.

It all started when Burr appeared as a guest on Mandel’s podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff. In the middle of Burr’s interview, Mandel surprised him by bringing out Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. Back in November, Corgan told Mandel on the same podcast that, years ago, his mother confided in him that Burr might be his half-brother.
